Sunny day!!!

It is quite clear that sunny days are best for me, today I did so many things I can´t believe myself, it is as if the energy boosts in a whole different way. I am beginning a new quest....making a pair of "Fingerless Mittens". I started pretty smooth but by 12:30 am lost my track of the instructions and now I need some help!!!! I´ll see if I can get some orientation at the "Ravelry Community", for the time being here is a sample of what I could do by myself.

Breakfast at Tiffany´s and some knitting...

Sunday I went to a local bookstore and ran into this novel "Breakfast at Tiffany´s" by Truman Capote. Let me tell you the title took directly to my memories of Audrey Hepburn in her perfect black dress, she is one of my favorite actresses, her personality and charm are unique. It is no wonder I haven´t been able to progress in my socks knitting project, suddenly I came up with no time for this. I will try to put all my spare time into this (aside from my reading).

Frost bite....

Helloo again! it´s been cold (at least more than usual). This picture of a quilt I made some years ago reflects how I´m feeling at the moment "frost bitten". I should get working on my knitting to warm up....here is a project I am beginning this year: making socks, for the moment it has turned out to be fun and let me tell you that I particularly like making small things....the problem is my sight, it is not what it used to be.

Hello everyone out there!!! I am thrilled to start my blog tonight, I have been following a number of blogs for some time now but wouldn´t decide on starting mine. It´s a bit scaring but with the guideance of my daughter I know I´ll ger over it fast.

A bit about myself... I am a crafter by heart, ever since I can remember I have loved to create and learn new techniques and I am always looking forward to learning something new. One of my long time dreams has been to be able to knit anything my heart desires just by looking at a magazine or book, I now it is a hard endeavor but let me tell you that I am beginning to overcome this "fear" by deciding to "knit more and worry less", this is going to be my motto at least for the next couple of months. As soon as I begin to learn how this works I will be posting some of my projects to share with and maybe I can give you a little inspiration to begin something new as I have received so much from many of the blogs I refer to. So for tonight I think this is it!!
Happy Stitches and More...
